I’m knitting the ‘Field Guide Mitts’,’ a Plucky Knitter pattern in Plain Yarn. I made a relatively minor mistake in the twisted stitches and didn’t notice for several rounds. My first attempt included pinning it out and dropping the stitches involved in the mis-crossed cables and re-knitting it correctly—which took about 15 minutes.
I had to put it aside to decide if I could live with the resulting distortion in the stitches and pattern and 24 hours later I found myself tinking out 7 rounds and reknitting them. That took a relaxed hour or so—was it worth it? Definitely!
