Plain Yarn is a yarn born of a place. It speaks to the landscape of Lancaster County, reflects the pared down simplicity of rural life, and is a truly local yarn. The wool is from an organically managed flock of Romney Sheep on a nearby Amish farm and is minimally processed and locally spun.

We are very happy to present ‘Flock 2025,’ an undyed white wool yarn that combines fleeces from white ewes and lambs, ‘The Boss,’ a medium grey color, and ‘Sadie,’ a creamy oatmeal colored yarn. Each skein is a generous 100 grams/200 yards. They are in the shop today!
