CLASS: Sock Knitting 101


Learn how to knit a sock from the cuff down to the toes! In this class you will learn how to knit the heel flap, turn the heel, and decreasing down the toe. This class is for knitters who wish to learn to knit socks for the first time or knitters who might need a refresher course. We will meet three times.

Project:  Hermione's Everyday Socks
Dates & Times: Saturdays, July 12, July 26 & August 2/9:30 AM - 11:30AM
Tuition:  $75. + materials Click HERE to register. Yarn can be ordered online or purchased in the shop.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate/Curious about Socks
Skills Required:  Must be able to cast on, knit & purl, and knit in the round.
Pattern:  Please download, print and bring your own copy of the FREE pattern HERE.

Yarn required:  100 grams fingering weight yarn, US # 1 -2 1/2  DPNs or 10” circulars (or as needed for gauge).  We recommend Kettle Dyed BFL or Madrona from Hikoo Yarns.

Please stop by the shop in advance of the class to choose yarn and needles. Yarn must be wound and ready to use before the first class.

Yarn for Free Workshops & Classes must be purchased at Lancaster Yarn Shop. We have all of the tools required for this project available for purchase in the shop, but you may bring your own needles and tools if you already have them.
