Kettle Dyed BFL Sock is perfect for socks, shawls, and garments. Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) is an extraordinary fiber. Spun with 25% nylon for durability, this fingering weight yarn is vibrant, saturated and just a little bit glossy. It has a springy and soft hand and is a pleasure to knit, crochet or weave. The stitch definition is sharp!
Each skein is 100 grams/437 yards.
Fingering weight: 75% superwash, Bluefaced Leicester wool/25% nylon.
Gauge variable with needles or hook used. Superb for socks on knitting needles size 0-1 or 2, elegant definition for lace on 4-6 and fun for scarves and shawls at whatever gauge you find interesting. Crocheters can try E -H, or again, whatever gauge suits your project.
