Knit a sweater this Winter! This Class is for knitters who wish to finesse their colorwork skills in a large scale project or knitters who might need a refresher course. We will knit this seamless, top down sweater while learning a provisional cast-on and a tubular bind-off along with other fundamental sweater making skills. We will meet three times.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate/Curious
Skills Required: Must be able to cast on, knit & purl, and knit in the round. Some colorwork experience helpful.
Pattern: Please purchase, download, print and bring your own copy of the pattern HERE.
Yarn required: see pattern for yarn quantities, US # 3 & 7 24”-32” circulars (or as needed for gauge). We recommend Plain Yarn, Rowan Felted Tweed or Woolstok Worsted.
Please stop by the shop in advance of the class to choose yarn and purchase needles and notions. Yarn must be wound and ready to use before the first class. Please note: there is homework for this class! Swatching instructions will be provided upon registration.
Your registration reserves your place in this Class. You can work with us to choose colors and yarn quantities and then pick up your yarn or we will hold it until the first day of the class. You may also purchase any or all of the tools required for this project at LYS, though you may bring your own needles and tools if you already have them.
Class size is limited. Pre-register by paying tuition and making a plan to purchase your yarn in the shop or online. We can help with colors and yarn quantities.
Classes and FREE Workshops at Lancaster Yarn Shop must meet a minimum enrollment to be held as scheduled. Classes and Free Workshops that are under-enrolled will be cancelled or re-scheduled. As always, all yarn, pattern and tool sales are final.
