CLASS: Magic Loop Sock Knitting 101

Learn how to knit a sock using the Magic Loop method from the cuff down to the toes! Learn to knit a slip stitch heel flap, turn the heel, and how to decrease and graft the toe. This class is for knitters who wish to learn to knit socks for the first time or knitters who might need a refresher course. We will meet three times.

Project:  ‘I’m So Basic Socks’ by Summer Lee
Dates & Times: Tuesday evenings, August 4, 18 & September 1, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Tuition:  $65. + materials Click HERE to register. Yarn can be ordered online or purchased in the shop (see links below).
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate/Curious about Socks
Skills Required:  Must be able to cast on, knit & purl, and knit in the round.
Pattern:  Please download, print and bring your own copy of the FREE pattern HERE.
Yarn required:  100 grams fingering weight yarn, US # 1, 1.5, or 2   40” circulars (as needed for gauge).  We recommend Kettle Dyed BFL, Zauberball Crazy or Madrona.

Please stop by the shop in advance of the class to choose yarn and needles. Yarn must be wound and ready to use before the first class.

Your registration and yarn purchase from Lancaster Yarn Shop reserves your place in this Class.  You can pick up your yarn or we will hold it until the day of the workshop. You may purchase any or all of the tools required for this project at LYS, though you may bring your own needles and tools if you already have them.

Class size is limited.  Pre-register by paying tuition and purchasing your yarn in the shop or online. Classes and FREE Workshops at Lancaster Yarn Shop must meet a minimum enrollment to be held as scheduled.  Classes and Free Workshops that are under-enrolled will be cancelled or re-scheduled.  As always, all yarn, pattern and tool sales are final.
