‘Ripple On’ Mosaic Mitt Knitting

Mosaic knitting from a chart can take your color-work up a notch! Learn how to read a mosaic chart, manage slipped stitches at a relatively fine gauge, and build additional skills that will help you knit smarter and better.

“These mitts are worked from the bottom up, in the round. A mosaic pattern runs along the top of the hand, while the palm side of the mitt is worked in striped stockinette stitch. Mosaic patterns are a wonderful way to create color-work without the need to carry two yarns on a row. To work your mitts in multiple colors, simply alternate yarns every two rows throughout.”
