ZOOM Workshop: Fair Isle Knitting with Ombre Yarn

Fair Isle patterning is a shop favorite—and we’re inspired by innovative combinations of color changing yarns and beautiful stranded patterns. This pattern combines a very simple stranded pattern with an ombre dyed yarn for dramatic results.

Skill Level:  Advanced Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Skills Required:   Basic hat knitting skills including casting on, knitting, purling, knitting in the round, and experience with decreasing and DPNs or magic loop technique

Supplies:   This Workshop via Zoom is free with purchase of yarn for the Upstream hat. Yarn required is two skeins of Reggae Ombre in contrasting colors. Purchase and download your copy of the pattern HERE. Upon purchase of your yarn, you will receive log in information for the Zoom Workshop. You must download the Zoom app in order to participate. Yarn Required:  Any 2 50 gram skeins Reggae Ombre’ in contrasting colors
Tools Required:  US #8 16” circulars and US #8 DPNs or 40” US#8 circular for magic loop, stitch markers, darning needle.
