Sharpen your scissors! We’re going to cut our hand knit sweaters! Learn how to secure and cut a steek to transform a pullover into a cardigan.

If you participated in the Strange Brew KAL using flyWHEEL, your sweater is just right for steeking. If you have another hand knit you’d like to steek, your project must be pre-approved for the class as not all designs and not all yarns are suitable for steeking.

Requirements:  Must bring a blocked, completed wool sweater that is ready to be steeked.
Tools:  Sharp scissors, small crochet hooks (C, D, E), darning needles, circular knitting needles in size used for ribbing.
Materials:  approximately 10 grams fingering weight yarn that is a close match to your garment
Class size is limited.  Preregistration is required.
