Portuguese Knitting with Andrea Wong

awong.jpg

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT

Learn the basics of Portuguese Knitting! With yarn tensioned through a knitting pin, the hands are left free to hold only the needles.  Both left and right handed knitters can learn this method of knitting. Portuguese knitting is both fast and ergonomic.

Andrea will teach a Portuguese cast on, how to knit and purl, and how to work both flat and in the round with the working yarn running through a knitting pin. Also, learn to increase, decrease, and use a Portuguese Bind off technique.

A project (including all skills learned) is included in the class! More details forthcoming.
