­Project:  Pick a Hat! Fair Isle Knitting Techniques

Rockfall and  Upstream are companion pieces.  They are an experiment in small charts repeated over and over again. Using two contrasting gradient colorways, one neutral and one bright and colorful, the patterns of Upstream & Rockfall are as as gradual and as sudden as a rock-fall along a river.”

Skill Level:  Advanced Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Skills Required:   Knitting, purling, etc. Learn everything you need to know to venture into Fair Isle knitting technique.
Pattern Requirements:  2 contrasting colors Reggae Ombre’, US #7-8 16” circular and DPNs, stitch markers.

Suggested Homework: Cast on and work the ribbing as directed in the pattern.
