Project:  Bliss-Bloss Shawl by Ambah O’Brien

Knit some sweet flowers to wrap yourself in! The Bliss-Bloss Shawl is worked tip to tip, forming a triangular shape and comes in 3 size options with a single, three or five flower version. Add pops of color to the centre of your flowers, keep them uniform in color or use up all those colors in your stash and make a bold statement. Want more flowers? Bliss-Bloss is readily adjusted for a longer, wider version.

Skills Required:  Knitting, purling, etc

Homework: Cast on and knit the garter stitch triangle shawl until you are one row short of the first row of intarsia patterning. We will begin working intarsia from charts straight away.

Yarn Required:  Rowan Felted Tweed Yarn in three colors (amount needed varies by size made)
C1: 186 (235, 315) yd/170 (215, 288) m
C2: 30 (90, 150) yd/28 (83, 138) m

Tools Required:  US #8 needles, darning needles, markers

You may purchase any or all of the tools required for this project at LYS, though you may bring your own needles and tools if you already have them.

Note: Our classroom space is located on the second floor. You'll need to walk up a flight of steps in order to access the classroom.
