An extended class format allows time to knit between sessions, which is ideal to explore and understand sweater knitting more fully.
Evendoon is worked seamlessly from the top down. First some plain rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then additional stitches are cast on and joined to work in the round. The raglan style yoke is worked top down to sleeve separation. The body is then worked in rounds down to the hem. Sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs. We’ll talk about the jogless join for stripes.
Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner - Intermediate
Skills Required: Must have some experience knitting and a general familiarity with fundamental knitting skills including casting on, knitting and purling, and increasing and decreasing.
Skills Taught: Learn to read and follow a pattern, and how to swatch for a garment that fits the way you want it to fit. We'll knit a comfortable wool sweater that you will love to wear!
Tools & Materials: Woolstok Worsted in two colors or six colors, or as many (or as few as one!). Please call or stop by the shop after you’ve registered for help choosing your sweater size, colors and yarn quantities.
Sizes available: 32 (34¼, 37, 39¼, 42¼, 45) [48, 51, 53¾, 56¾, 60¼] in
81.5 (87, 94, 99.5, 107.5, 114.5) [122, 129.5, 136.5, 144, 153] cm

Yarn for KALs, Classes and Free Workshops must be purchased at Lancaster Yarn Shop. You may use your own tools if you already have them, though of course we have everything you need for this project available for purchase in the shop.
