Project: Love Note by Tin Can Knits
This winter, we’'ll have three exclusive meetings on ZOOM while we knit our sweaters together. We’ll meet February 7, 21, & 28. ‘This sweet little sweater knits up quickly from the top down. The combination of Leaf, a mohair/silk lace yarn and Lumen, a silk and merino sock yarn creates a fabric that is floaty, soft and sensual. With a high-low hemline and two length options, what’s not to love?’

Skill Level:  Advanced Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Skills Required:  Basic knitting skills including casting on, joining, working in the round, increasing and decreasing, etc
Skills Taught: garment knitting technique, swatching, fit, finishing
Sizes Available: infant - Adult 5XL
Pattern: Please purchase, download and print your own copy of the pattern HERE

Yarn Required: Two yarns are held together to get gauge for this sweater, we’ll use Lumen* and Leaf* from Kettle Dyed Yarns.

*Please consult with the shop to order your yarns in the quantity and color you require.
Choose any color currently listed for LUMEN on our website and we’ll pair it with the same color in Leaf in the correct amount. Your yarn will be dyed for you!
The last day for special orders to be shipped is January 20.
Last day for shipping from in stock yarns January 31.

Tools Required:  US # 7 & # 10 in various lengths (see pattern for details), stitch markers, darning needles, etc

Yarn for our Classes and Free Workshops must be purchased at Lancaster Yarn Shop.  You may use your own needles and tools but of course you may purchase any or all of the tools required for this project at LYS. Please call the shop for more information.
