Fair Isle motifs and technical skills can be mastered through knitting hats!  This popular, appealing pattern is a great introduction to Fair Isle knitting, and a great next step for knitters who have given stranded knitting a try. These hats are knit from the bottom up, with the colorwork motifs being read from a chart and the hat is sized Baby--Adult Large.

Skill Level:  Advanced Beginner/Intermediate
Skills Required:  Basic knitting skills including casting on, knitting, purling, knitting in the round
Supplies:  This Workshop via Zoom is free with purchase of your kit for the Flicker & Flame hat.

Kits include:  One skein Flywheel and one skein Classic Alpaca in your choice of warm (Woodsy), cool (Bluesy) or  neutrals (Smokey), a .pdf of the Andrea Mowry pattern and a clear project bag.  Choose your colors and purchase your kit HERE.  After the purchase of your kit, you will receive log in information for the Zoom Workshop. Pattern .pdf will be sent to email provided on order.  Pick up your kit or choose standard shipping. Orders to be shipped must be placed by January 2, 2022.

Yarn Required:  One skein Flywheel & one skein Classic Alpaca in contrasting colors (see colors offered or choose any 1 skein Flywheel & 1 skein Classic Alpaca HERE. )
Tools Required:  US  #5 &  #7 16” circulars and US 7 DPNs or 40” circulars in sizes required for magic loop, stitch markers, darning needle.
