Project:  Vintersol Sweater by Jennifer Steingass

This fall, we invite you to knit along with us as we knit Jennifer Steingass' hybrid yoke sweater pattern the Vintersol.

Come to LYS to cast on your Vintersol Sweater!  Meet the knitter who made our shop sample and come ready with questions!  We will talk about sizing, fit and yarn ideas. 

You may want to choose your yarn ahead of time and SWATCH.  If you prefer, work on your swatch at the cast-on party! We have an incredible selection of colors in Prairie Spun DK.  Pre-order the colors YOU want for your sweater and let's get started! Skill Level:  Intermediate-Advanced

Skills Required: familiarity knitting in the round, basic understanding of fair-isle techniques, adventurous attitude

Skills Taught:   Learn to use COWYAK--a provisional cast on method, and how to work a beautiful hybrid yoked sweater.  We will review the pattern, discuss sizing and blocking, and review the techniques required to successfully knit a beautiful sweater!

Tools & Materials:  Prairie Spun Dk or Kenzie in quantities sufficient to make the size you choose, needles to achieve gauge, markers, waste yarn for cast on. Bring your pattern!
