Project:  'Baktus Scarf' by Strikkelise

'If you've visited LYS and Wendy was in the shop, you've probably seen this scarf around her neck.  If you've spoken with her about it, she's probably said, "I wear this like it's the best and only wearable thing I've made in 30 years!'  What makes this little garter stitch scarf so appealing? We will discuss the pattern in detail--and the many fun variations creative knitters have applied to the project in the past ten years!

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Skills Required:   Cast on, knitting, purling, binding off

Pattern Requirements:  US #3 or 4 needles, locking ring stitch markers. Please bring a variety of needles as your gauge may vary.  Needles available for purchase.
Materials:  100 grams/400 yards fingering or sport weight yarn (shown above in Zauberball)
