LKR2017 will be held at the beautiful Amish View Inn in Bird-In-Hand, Pennsylvania April 21 – 23, 2017. We are so pleased to welcome Ann Weaver and Melissa Leapman as this year’s featured teachers! The Retreat takes place in an inspiring, rural setting with excellent teachers and in the good company of knitters from near and far. Please join us for this delightful knitting get-away.
THE LANCASTER KNITTER'S RETREAT IS SOLD OUT!
Arrive Friday and join us for a wine and coffee reception and an evening of knitting in the Great Room at Amish View Inn.
On Saturday attend Ann Weaver's 'Yipes Stripes,' and Melissa Leapman's new course 'Crazy Cool Cables’ (details below). Our Saturday evening banquet will be followed by an engaging talk about Color Theory with Ann Weaver.
Sunday morning, Ann and Melissa will help us host The Knitting Salon. A Salon can be defined as 'a cultural hub, responsible for the dissemination of good manners and sociability.' We will spin a yarn or two, share songs and ideas and projects, and learn from each other - all to inspire you and your knitting.

Saturday Classes:
“Yipes Stripes” with Ann Weaver
Learn new methods for stripes while knitting a cowl designed for this workshop.
This cowl is a cornucopia of striping techniques, including a turned hem, two-color and three-color braids, large stripes, small stripes, slipped stitches, and a two-color bind-off. This project is a great way to learn and practice techniques. It can easily be customized to include more colors, more braids, and more stripes!
“Crazy Cool Cables” with Melissa Leapman
Had your fill with traditional Aran cables? In this class, explore fun and unusual cables you've never seen before, from a dramatic two-color panel to a beautiful Celtic swirl and more!
“A weekend full of knitting in a uniquely peaceful setting...I loved it! Who could ask for more?”
