Skills Required: Basic proficiency in knitting
Skills Taught: We'll learn to do a provisional cast on and pick up stitches along a garter edge (for the garter tab), knit and purl when working flat, work directional increases, work lace stitches from a chart or written directions, work a centered double decrease, and how to do a cable cast on (for the picot bind off).
Tools & Materials: 2 skeins of Mariquita or Lumen, US #5 32-40" circular needles, markers
