FREE Workshop: Herringbone Hat

Project:  Herringbone Hat by Anne Mizoguchi

Let's take stranded knitting up a notch with a beautiful charted pattern.  Develop your two color knitting skills and practice following a charted pattern.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate

Tools & Materials: 1 skein each of two colors of Lanas Light or Classic Alpaca, additional yarn for a pom pom in a third color, 16-inch US #4 and US #6 circular needles, 8-inch US #6 double pointed needles, stitch markers, and tapestry needle.   Your gauge may vary and you may need different sized needles.  Please download and bring your own copy of the free pattern here.

Homework: Please come to the workshop with the ribbing completed.

Your yarn purchase from Lancaster Yarn Shop reserves your place in this Free Workshop. When ordering online, choose ‘pickup’ as your shipping option and leave a note telling us which workshop you are registering for.  You can pick up your yarn or we will hold it until the day of the workshop.

You may purchase any or all of the tools required for this project at LYS, though you may bring your own needles and tools if you already have them.

Class size is limited.  Pre-register by purchasing your yarn in the shop or online.

Classes and FREE Workshops at Lancaster Yarn Shop must meet a minimum enrollment to be held as scheduled.  Classes and Free Workshops that are under-enrolled will be cancelled or re-scheduled.  As always, all yarn, pattern and tool sales are final.
