World Wide Knit in Public Day Saturday June 14

We love this CELEBRATION of Yarn and Knitting and Community!  This is a day for sharing our love of knitting and crocheting and yarn with each other and with the wider, non-knitting public, who might not yet realize the multitude of benefits from knitting!  Feel free to drop in anytime during the day - bring a chair if you plan to stay and knit.  We'll have Door Prizes, the ever popular Knitting Buggy Ride *, WHOOPIE PIES, Raspberry Lemonade & lots of Knitting in Public!  Bring a Chair!  (*Please call the shop to reserve a spot on the Knitting Buggy)

New for 2014! - Kettle Dyed Sock Yarn Virtual Fashion Show

We invite knitters (and crocheters) to submit your BEST photo of a project made with our Kettle Dyed Sock Yarn to be entered in our Virtual Fashion Show.  We will post the projects on a Virtual Runway on our Pinterest page, and on WWKiP Day a random entry will win a terrific, knitty prize!  To enter simply send an email to lancasteryarnshop@gmail.com with the subject line "virtual fashion show." Attach your BEST photo of a Kettle Dyed Sock Yarn project along with your name, project name, and color used.  OR bring an FO to WWKiP Day before 2:00 pm and we will add it to the virtual runway.  The winner will be drawn at random around 3:00 pm, Saturday June 14.  You do NOT need to be present to win.  Good Luck and Thanks for sharing your projects with us!  SUBMISSIONS OPEN MAY 1st
