First Time Sweater: EVENING CLASS

*Learn to knit a sweater!  We are offering a third option for knitters who want to make a sweater this year:  a First Time Sweater Class that will meet weekday EVENINGS in January and February.

Project: Tea Leaves Cardigan by Melissa Barre
Dates:  Tuesdays, January 7 & 21, February 4 & 18
Time:   6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Tuition:  $90.00 + cost of materials

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate.
Skills Required: Basic Knitting skills necessary.  Must know how to cast on, knit, and purl. 
Techniques Taught: Material selection, long-tail cast on, the knit stitch, shaping & excellent finishing technique.

Materials:  Will be determined by SIZE sweater being knitted.  Worsted weight wool yarn 1,050  - 1,470 yards, 32" circular US #6 & 7 needles, one set US#7 dpns. (Needle size may need to be adjusted for gauge.)  Thanks to Melissa for permission to use her excellent pattern. 

This project is suitable for Advanced Beginners/Intermediate Knitters.
