A First Time Sock Class! Join us on   Wednesday Evenings, October 2nd and 16th and learn to knit socks!  We'll use a pattern that is just right for your first pair of socks. The days are getting shorter in October, let's cast on a project to get your Fall knitting under way!

Project:  Lancaster County Blend Socks
Date:  Wednesday EVENINGS October 2 & 16
Time:  6:00p - 8:00p

Cost:  $35.00

Knit from the cuff down, this sock will introduce new sock knitters to basic sock construction.  Special techniques include heelflap, gusset decreases, and toe shaping.

Materials:  100 grams/416 yards fingering weight yarn, US #2 double point needles, stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Sizes available:
men & women

This workshop is suitable for Intermediate Knitters.    Intermediate Knitters are Current Knitters who know the basics:   long-tail cast-on, knit, purl, and bind off.  Experience working with double-pointed needles is a plus but not required.  This is an ambitious class & will require knitting at home.  We will review the whole pattern & all techniques, with particular attention to turning the heel.

Pre-registration is required.  (717) 768-8007.
