FREE Workshop: Friday Evening--Leventry Shawl

Are you ready to expand your knitting horizons beyond simple rectangular scarves? This is an excellent pattern choice for a fun-to-knit first shawl for knitters who are ready to step up their skills. Two color stripes and a beautiful lace border, Leventry is a stylish addition to your wardrobe and a skill builder for your knitting.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate

Skills Required:  Basic proficiency in knitting

Skills Taught:  
We'll learn to do a provisional cast on and pick up stitches along a garter edge (for the garter tab), knit and purl when working flat, work directional increases, work lace stitches from a chart or written directions, work a centered double decrease, and how to do a cable cast on (for the picot bind off).

Tools & Materials:  2 skeins of Mariquita or Lumen, US #5 32-40" circular needles, markers

Class size is limited.
