Project:  Polychromatic by Kieran Foley

You know when you're browsing patterns on Ravelry, and you come across one that takes your breath away? And you know how there never seems to be time for knitting those patterns? Well, we're going to make one happen, and we hope you'll join us.

'Polychromatic is a soft, light, colorful shawl with colored diamonds set in an airy openwork mesh. The pattern is inspired by Schoppel-Wolle’s Zauberball colors and the paintings of Paul Klee - the colorwork diamonds look like flickering little brushstrokes.

A relatively easy knit, with the added interest of choosing, mixing and blending colors like a painter. The CC lengths can be made up of shorter lengths of leftovers spliced together, or different colors of lighter weight yarn held double for a marled effect.'
