Project:  Planned Pooling:  A Special Class with Janelle Martin

'Looking for something new to do with your skeins of handpainted yarn? This class will teach you how to assess the colours in your yarn and line them up to create vertical stripes utilizing the natural pooling effects of the yarn and leave with the start of a scarf.  You'll also learn to read a chart and knit a basic lace pattern.'

Cost:  $40.00 + materials
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Pattern Requirements:  US #2 1/2 - 6 needles & stitch markers.  All materials and needles available for purchase.

Materials:  Fingering Weight Yarn 350-500 yards, stitch markers (6-10), a selection of needles between sizes 3 mm and 4 mm, contrasting coloured thread (for lifelines), sewing needle, scissors, Crochet hook, Size G or H, small amount of waste yarn, and locking stitch markers or coil-less safety pins (20 - 30).
